A dedicated member of staff at Ocean MINI is taking on the ultimate test of endurance this April, committing to run 60 miles throughout the month in support of Prostate Cancer Research.
David Allen, who works as Sales Manager for Ocean MINI in Plymouth, is participating in the “Run 60 Miles in April” challenge, a campaign designed to raise both awareness and vital funds for prostate cancer research. The challenge encourages participants to complete 60 miles over the course of the month, symbolising the 60 men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer every hour in the UK.
David has a target of at least 2 miles a day, meaning he should reach the 60 miles easily by the end of April. All with the enthusiastic support of The Ocean Group behind him.
The money raised through the Run 60 Miles in April challenge will help fund groundbreaking research into prostate cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Every donation brings researchers one step closer to better outcomes and, ultimately, a cure.
David has set a fundraising goal of £150 and is actively encouraging colleagues, friends, and family to contribute to this important cause.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in advancing critical research.
