Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival

We are proud to return as sponsors for the Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival.

A fantastic series of running events on Sunday 28th April. Including the 1 mile School’s Challenge, 5k, 10k and Half Marathon. Events which draw thousands of runners and their families to the Hoe Promenade and roadsides around the city to all enjoy and cheer on the many participants of the races. As well as the spectacle of the effort of the runners, the backdrop to the start and finish overlooks the stunning Plymouth Sound from the Hoe Promenade. With an attendance of 10,000 runners and 40,000 spectators, we will be in attendance to lead everyone off from the start and cheer them into the finish.

CHEER STATIONS

On the day we’ll have the ‘MINI MASSIVE‘ Cheer Station at mile 2.5, we will be cheering the 10km runners on the way out to their halfway point and as they return shortly after. For the Half Marathon runners we’ll see them 3 times – twice early on in the first half of the race and then again as they return through the 10.5 mile point. The Cheer Point will be a chance to see and support the runners 5 times during the course of the event. Cheer position: click here

There will also be the ‘BMW 1-Series 1 LAST MILE‘ Cheer Station at the turning onto the Barbican, Southside St. where we can give the runners in the 5km, 10km and Half Marathon races one last boost as they ‘dig-in’ for the race finales. Cheer position: click here
