Ahead of its’ launch in March 2026, we held Exclusive Preview Events for the BMW iX3 in Falmouth and Plymouth.
Many guests having already ordered, this was their first opportunity to sit in the drivers seat and experience the technology innovations the iX3 boasts.
Our guests were greeted by Trevethan Gin Distillery for welcoming drinks on both nights and delicious canapes from Fletcher’s Restaurant in Plymouth and Avo Catering Co. in Falmouth.
Following introductions by our BMW Sales Manager’s Jordan and Tony and the BMW Academy Team, the silk was pulled and the start of a new era unveiled!
With excitement clear, the silk had barely settled before the flush door handles had been pulled and every seat occupied in the iX3! The instant intrigue and positive affirmations expressed were a delight to see. We’ve known since its’ announcement that the iX3 would appeal to a wide audience and these special evenings only reconfirmed this feeling.
The new iX3 is a leap forward in electric motoring, with all-new battery technology creating never before seen levels of efficiency and potential for drivers. The iX3 is also the first BMW model to utilise BMW’s ‘Heart of Joy‘ superbrain – the central computer/control unit which optimises driving dynamics, cornering, regenerative braking and even driving comfort – giving the Neue Klasse models a seamless driving experience.
Many of the new innovations are hidden in the inner workings of the vehicle, performing constantly in the background, others like the intuitive Central Freecut Display, Panoramic iDrive Display and the Multi-functional Steering Wheel have been designed to enable the driver and passengers to effortlessly interact with the iX3 – performing all navigation, entertainment, environment and intelligent functions with the least distraction from concentration on driving.
