WHAT’S PLUG-IN HYBRID?

BMW X5 PLUG-IN HYBRID
Forget what you know about sports activity vehicles, the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) has been redesigned and rebuilt from the wheels up and has new levels of luxury, connectivity and performance.
The BMW X5 features new electric split-tailgate, which helps with loading/unloading, and also the optional third row of seats. It also comes with Adaptive two-axle air suspension, sump-guard under-body protection and an optional xOffroad pack, which includes four new off-road driving modes. What more could you want?
xSnow
When it’s icy, the xSnow mode activates the Dynamic Stability Control, the air suspension is set to normal level and the vehicle set off in 2nd gear. This means sufficient drip on slippery roads.
xGravel
The xGravel mode raises the air suspension to provide an additional 20mm ground clearance. Off-road-ABS can be activated immediately, so comfortable responsiveness from the accelerator pedal is provided.
xRocks
xRocks mode raises the air suspension to increase ground clearance by an additional 40mm, whilst off-road-ABS can be activated from a speed of 6mph.
xSand
xSand increases the ground clearance by 20mm and offers a readily controllable response from the accelerator pedal. Off-road-ABS can also be activated from a speed of 6mph. Resulting in optimum traction on unsurfaced roads.

The BMW X3 xDrive30e Plug-in Hybrid is breathing new life into electric adventures. Boasting enhanced BMW eDrive technology, which offers up to 28 miles* of pure electric range and superior xDrive handling, this plug-in hybrid SAV is oozing confidence.
From a running costs perspective, it comes with a Benefit in Kind (BIK) rate from 11% and emits just 49g/km of CO2. And it can go from zero to 62mph, when using both electric and combustion engines, in just 6.2 seconds.
