Performance
This is where the intrigue of the MINI Electric truly lies. This is a model that offers a magnificent range of up to 145 miles on a full charge, equivalent to just 4p per mile. With charging via a home wallbox taking just three hours, 12 minutes, and with more than 8,000 public charging points available, you’re never far from having a full battery. In fact, at 50kW charging outlets, an 80% charge can be achieved in as little as 36 minutes. Of course, this being an all-electric model, the new MINI Electric emits zero CO2 emissions.
Technology and safety
At the centre of the dashboard is the real hub of the MINI Electric’s activity. This colourful display incorporates satellite navigation with the vehicle’s entertainment system, and can even provide you with details on the nearest charging points for the car. DAB radio and smartphone connectivity will give you complete control over the audio in the model, while calls and messaging couldn’t be any safer. With cruise control helping maintain your speed and distance from other road users, and Intelligent Emergency Call a measure that will react in the event of an accident, you can be confident of taking to the roads in complete safety.
