Performance
As a hybrid, this X3 is designed to put on a powerful performance time and time again while reducing fuel output. It combines a two-litre engine with a 12-kWh lithium ion battery and delivers a total output of 288 horsepower. Charging is at the front of the vehicle and a light will flash blue when charging is taking place. Charging takes roughly three hours.
The X3 30e also comes with multiple driving modes including Eco Pro, Sport and Comfort. You can hit the eDrive button to control your electric and hybrid functions. This allows you to set a battery depletion percentage should you wish to save battery power.

Exterior
Muscular with flowing lines and a dominant presence out on the road, this is a hybrid that means business. The BMW X3 30e radiates sophistication with a neat charging point and subtle hybrid branding. It also comes in ten colours including two new options – Dark Olive and Terra Brown. There are five different wheel options too as well as two large active kidney grilles. These maximise MPG by automatically opening and closing to warm and cool the engine.
Interior
As a family-friendly hybrid, this X3 model comes with a spacious, versatile interior with foldable seats and plenty of leg and head room. The boot offers over 52 cubic metres of storage space with the seats folded down and, with innovative storage throughout, you won’t be short of room for all your belongings.
The cabin has a sophisticated feel, complemented by multiple leather seating options. There’s also an intuitive dashboard which neatly displays useful information to the driver including charging statistics and electric range. The 10.25-inch iDrive 7 infotainment system is one of the best on the market in any class too, with configurable widgets making it easy to access satellite navigation and communication tools.
