Maintaining characteristics from its heritage car, the iX1 possesses distinctive features that X1 lovers are accustomed to. The exclusive, almost square kidney grille is dominant across the front fascia, encompassed by standard, but de-selectable, blue accents to add an electrifying statement, with new Adaptive LED headlights that wrap around to the side view. The striking blue accents also trail around the side, illustrating the electric drive of this prominent and dynamic vehicle. The stance of the iX1 is superior, with its upright proportions, dark smoked glass and L-shaped rear lights to truly make an evident statement. The interior is home to brand-new innovative highlights that make the iX1 the perfect companion for every journey. When you first open the door, the most prominent feature is the BMW Curved Display, a slim and frameless screen that allows you to control functions with your voice and touch. A new modern central console comes as standard, with a switch/sliding control replacing the manual switches so you can operate elements with ease. Also integrated into the central console is a wireless charging tray, where you can lay your smartphone to charge whilst you drive. Maintaining its large storage space, the iX1 shares the same roomy interior as its heritage, the X1. In the luggage compartment, there is a generous amount of stowage options, like a folding floor insert, and reclining angle adjustments for the rear seat backrests give additional luggage space to allow for spontaneous adventures.

RANGE AND CHARGING THE NEW iX1

The BMW iX1 has a range of up to 272 miles* (WLTP), which makes it the perfect vehicle for those impromptu tours. When it comes to charging your iX1, there are options to make your experience as effortless as possible. Charging at home with a Flexible Charger will conveniently power your vehicle at a speed of up to 3.7 kW, or the faster option of Solo 3 Smart Home Charger from our partner Pod Point allows for speeds of up to 7 kW or 22 kW at a three-phase power supply. When out and about, there are a vast number of constantly expanding public charging networks. BMW Charging supplies everything you need like the BMW Charging Card and charging cable (Mode 3), which are included as standard with the iX1, as well as attractive charging tariffs. You are able to recharge the iX1 up to 80% of the range in just 29 minutes at public high-speed charging stations at a speed of 127 kW.**

LUXURIOUS COMFORT AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

Hosting a range of innovative and intelligent technologies, the iX1 allows you to experience safety and comfort on every journey. With Driving Assistant Professional, your speed and distance are maintained to minimise the risk of accidents in different situations, as well as automatically maintaining lanes. Also included to ensure your driving experience is as effortless as possible is Reversing Assistant, which memorises the steering movements of the last 50 metres and automatically returns your vehicle to that path. Parking Assistant is fitted as standard, to ensure you are easily able to park and manoeuvre into the most challenging parking spaces, preventing any damage.

Getting to your destination is made effortless with BMW Maps, featuring convenient navigation instructions in the camera image that are presented clearly on the BMW Curved Display via Augmented View for easy visibility. Once your destination is entered, BMW Maps accurately predicts your arrival time whilst displaying the fastest route.

Stay on the road with your favourite apps when connecting your smartphone to your iX1 through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use smartphone functions comfortably and safely whilst you drive, with convenient access to music, media and messaging apps.
