DESIGN
The athletic new build of the X1 boasts an elevated ride height that provides enhanced ground clearance, and BMW’s DNA is instantly discernible and ever-present throughout the exterior. This is recognised instantly by the front fascia, which is distinguished by the new square-like signature dual-kidney grille, amid slimline Adaptive LED headlights. Pan around to the dynamic side view, where the flanks feature the distinctive ‘Hofmeister kink’, which seamlessly continues the line of the car’s C-pillar to the opening edges of its rear doors. With its monolithic and dominant stance, the rear possesses three-dimensional L-shaped lights that make a modern statement. The revised interior has had a modern upgrade, featuring new and innovative digital technologies, a modern central console and an optimised, comfortable five-seat cabin for you and your passengers.

PERFORMANCE
With its long wheelbase, complete with short overhangs, the X1 is an agile vehicle – while an all-wheel-drive system ensures that the vehicle offers outstanding levels of extra traction, driving dynamics and safety. The BMW X1 xDrive23i is a combustion engine, providing up to 218hp (160 kW) that makes it perfect for inner-city driving, whilst the Plug-in Hybrid version, the xDrive30e has an output of up to 326hp (240 kW) and a range of up to 55 miles of purely electric driving. All options offer noteworthy efficiency and each deliver extra torque.

TECHNOLOGY & SAFETY
Innovation has been considered when building the new X1, as new digital features have been introduced to make your driving experience more convenient. Included is the new BMW Curved Display, a slim and frameless screen that is effortlessly controlled by touch to access everything you need right in front of you, like route navigation through BMW Maps. Connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth allows you to access your favourite apps, as the integration supports Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. To ensure your smartphone never runs out of charge, the X1 features an integrated wireless charging tray in the modern central console, as well as a switch/sliding control to operate elements of the latest generation. To ensure optimum safety and convenience for the driver, the xLine Premier Pro models and M Sport Premier Pro Models come with Driving Assistant Profession as standard, which automatically maintains lane, speed and distance, to reduce the risk of accidents. Also included in all models is Reversing Assistant that manoeuvers you out of difficult situations whilst remembering the steering movements of the last 50 metres, and Parking Assistant that help guide you into tight spaces.
