What is the Motability Scheme?
The government funded Motability Scheme provides those motorists in receipt of selected mobility supplements to exchange their allowance for the lease on a new car. Among those manufacturers that are supporters of the scheme – and whose vehicles you can lease – is BMW. As a result, you’re able to put your mobility supplement towards models such as the compact and hugely stylish BMW 1 Series, the larger and more comfortable BMW 3 Series, or even one of the German manufacturer’s lineup of high-quality SUVs.

What's the next step?
In order to be eligible for the Motability Scheme, the team of specialists at Ocean Group will be able to check your status against the necessary criteria. Namely that you’re in receipt of one of the following benefits with at least 12 months’ allowance remaining:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Eligibility
If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA); the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP); the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) and you have at least 12 months remaining on your award, you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme.
