BMW at the Royal Cornwall Show 2025: A Celebration of Luxury, Innovation and Cornish Craftsmanship
The Royal Cornwall Show 2025 was a landmark event for BMW, as we returned to the heart of the Cornish countryside to showcase a bold and exciting lineup — including the highly anticipated BMW M5 Touring, cutting-edge electric models, and a unique outdoor lifestyle twist. Over the course of three days, thousands of visitors explored our stand, and we’re proud to say the experience was about so much more than just cars.
A VIP Experience with Cornish Flair
This year, we wanted to create an immersive, premium experience that reflected both the spirit of BMW and the rich culture of Cornwall. That’s why we partnered with some of the region’s finest local businesses to provide our VIP guests with a true taste of the South West.
Talland Bay Hotel brought an elegant culinary touch to the stand, serving up freshly baked cream teas complete with warm scones, rich clotted cream and homemade jam. Guests also enjoyed their signature handmade sausage rolls, made from locally sourced ingredients — a perfect accompaniment to the relaxed and luxurious atmosphere of our VIP area.
To pair with the food, we featured a bespoke drinks menu curated with the help of two outstanding Cornish brands. Trevethan Gin, distilled just a short drive from the showground, treated guests to refreshing gin and tonics, poured by expert mixologists who explained the story behind each botanical. For those preferring non-alcoholic options, Luscombe Drinks offered their award-winning range of soft drinks — from organic elderflower bubbly to zesty Sicilian lemonade, all crafted in Devon with natural ingredients.
Spotlight on the BMW M5 Touring + TentBox
One of the most talked-about highlights of the event was the striking new BMW M5 Touring, making a bold statement with a TentBox rooftop tent mounted on top. This unexpected pairing of high-performance luxury and outdoor adventure captured imaginations and sparked conversations among visitors of all ages.
The TentBox setup wasn’t just for show — it demonstrated the M5 Touring’s versatility as a performance car that doesn’t compromise on practicality or lifestyle. Whether it’s tackling long-distance road trips or spontaneous weekends under the stars, the M5 Touring with TentBox showcased how BMW is redefining what it means to combine power, utility, and innovation.
