SPECIAL GUESTS AT THE BIKE SHACK

Back in February of 2019, members of Ocean BMW Motorrad were privileged enough to view the Option 719 hand milled billet parts that BMW were soon to make available on some of their more special motorcycles. Since then we have had our fingers, toes and everything else crossed that the Torbay Bike Shack would have one of these beautiful machines in stock.... And here it is!

The BMW R1250 R shares the new ShiftCam technology that resides in all new BMW motorcycles have the world renowned twin cylinder boxer configuration. Producing more power and more torque than the outgoing 1200 boxer, the performance really shines through on this highly specified 'Sport' model adding more muscle to a bike that already screams 'get up and go'! This particular bike has the Akrapovic exhaust to add to the drama. Its engine sound bellowing off the tree lined roads. It's enough to make your hair stand on end!

But what really makes this bike stand apart from the others is the addition of the Option 719 HP billet parts that have been factory fitted by BMW. Option 719 gives you a part of true BMW Motorrad history. This denotation and number has always been used in BMW's Berlin works for custom-made products ordered by BMW Motorrad's most exclusive builds. We hope the images provided give you a real sense of the quality and craftsmanship that have gone in to these exquisite parts but to get a real feel for how superb they are you need to see the bike, in the 'metal' with your own eyes.
