BMW S 1000 RR
The ultimate riding experience just got a whole lot better. The updated version of the BMW S 1000 RR takes an entirely new approach to provide an enhanced sense of sport adventures, whilst pushing your riding encounters to the limit. This superbike is able to provide more speed, strength and agility than before without compromising comfort or class, and provides optimum performance through various revised components, whether that be on the racetrack or the road. Integrated M components not only ensure improved performance, but also a newer, sportier design.
EVEN MORE SO, BORN FOR THE RACETRACK
It’s no secret that the S 1000 RR was already a racing icon, but the updated 2022 version has even more features to ensure that your performance is outstanding each and every time. New composite plastic winglets allow for up to 17.1kg aerodynamic downforce at 300 km/h, depending on the speed. This helps to ensure that the front wheel stays firmly on the ground when accelerating. You will notice that converting drive power into acceleration is even more direct, thanks to the fork maintaining contact with the ground so that DTC doesn’t need to intervene as much
UNLEASHED PASSION
The BMW ShiftCam four-cylinder engine in the RR allows for 3 hp more output which now totals the S 1000 RR to exert an impressive 210 hp (154 kW). Taking on board some features from the M RR, the experience from the racetrack has been transformed to the S RR. Features like the airbox make sure that the S RR has good air supply and better load changes, while other M RR features include cylinder heads with new channel geometry, reinforced bearing brackets, and a chain ring with 46 teeth instead of 45, for increase power down the straight.
MONITOR YOUR PERFORMANCE ON SCREEN
Keeping your concentration levels high is easily achieved with the screen, which displays the last screen after switching the ignition off/on. Available screens include One Pure Ride Screen and three different Core Screens depending on your preference when navigating the roads. When the engine is cold, the screen displays an appropriate maximum speed, and the rotational-speed sensor flashes much more obviously thanks to the flashing gearshift indicator.

DYNAMIC DESIGN
BMW wanted to make a change to the superbike landscape, and they’ve done exactly that with the BMW S 1000 RR. This high-performance motorcycle has been through an extensive redesign and to say that it packs a punch would be an understatement. The swing arm is fully braced underneath and comes as standard. slight but effective changes have been made like the lowering of the steering head angle by 0.5° to 66.4° and the offset of the fork bridges has been reduced by 3mm to 25.5mm for better wheel accuracy. The defined LED headlights give the front fascia an aggressive and dynamic look, and with Z-shaped rails that span across the contours, the BMW S 1000 RR may be a beast, but it’s also a thing of beauty. To make this bike more aesthetically pleasing, and to improve visibility, the front indicators have been relocated to the rear-view mirrors. Choose between three colour variants depending on your preference, Light White/M Motorsport, Racing Red, or Black Storm Metallic.
