BMW R nineT Urban G/S
The R nineT is in its element whatever terrain it encounters, and the detour is the best part of the journey. The design gives a subtle nod to its heritage, as it is similar to the first G/S models. This is the bike that brings back memories. Elements like the boxer with its distinct sound, the upright yet relaxed seating position and the well-balanced handling allow you to re-write history with the personal and individual R nineT G/S.
PERFORMANCE
A bike fit for any occasion, the R NineT G/S is just as happy to carry you through city traffic as it is to encounter spontaneous trips across rough terrains. The air/oil-cooled boxer ensures that whichever route you choose to take, this bike will get you there, whilst guaranteeing to make the journey a fun one. Spontaneous rides are easily achieved thanks to the optimised torque curve, exerting power through 4,000 and 6,000 rpm, with the peak torque being 116 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
COMFORT
Driving Modes Pro now has a new addition – Dirt Mode – that allows for balanced ridability on the roughest tracks. Whilst on gravel and dirt roads, Dirt Mode lets the control systems ASC or DTC take effect much later. For optimum visibility on those bendier routes, the adaptive headlights fully illuminate the roads ahead of angles between 7° and 25°.

BMW R nineT Urban G/S DESIGN
As a unique feature of the R nineT family, the tank shape and snorkel cover assure that this model is distinct from the rest of the Motorrad range. With other nods to its family and heritage, the round LED headlight provides a familiar look. To differentiate the Urban G/S from the R nineT range, the lamp cover and front wheel cover give it an unmistakable front image. Three colour options are available for the R nineT Urban G/S, that each highlight its heritage:
Option 719 Underground/Lightwhite – Although a subtle pop of colour, the pale blue really makes a statement against the small area of white paintwork and black highlights.
Light White with Tape – This option is nothing short of eye-catching, as the bright white, black frame and bright red seat resemble the typical G/S look that was favoured in the 80s.
Imperial Blue Metallic – The dark blue paintwork with elements of bright red and royal blue gives this bike a unique and elegant appearance.
