The BMW M 1000 RR

The strongest letter in the world. The first M model from BMW Motorrad. Think high-performance, high-tech materials, the highest quality workmanship, and pure motorsport, which is all implemented in the M 1000 RR. Straight from the world of professional racing, the M RR has no limits, with M Competition package that offers pure racing technology, made for those adrenalin-driven riders. Ambition to win
When creating and building the M RR, sports racing was kept at the forefront of our minds at Motorrad. With the roots of sports racing oozing through, the M RR has been perfected for the road. A few changes have been made to ensure this bike is a top-performing vehicle: we have increased the power of the four-cylinder in-line engine from the RR: For a higher torque in the mid-range. And we have increased the maximum speed by 500 rpm to 15,100 rpm. The titanium connecting rods are lighter, the rocker arms are 1.5 mm narrower, the airbox funnel has been shortened for better load changes: Millimetre work for milliseconds. In addition, there are 2-ring forged pistons with cross-ribbing and cylinder heads with new channel geometry and reinforced bearing brackets. Overall result: More dynamics and reduced mass inertia. For a shorter ratio, even the sprocket has been given a tooth and the chain itself and the wheelbase have also been lengthened. The anti-hopping clutch works without self-reinforcement – for the perfect launch control.

Feedback to fuel the desire
The framework and build of the M RR are built for the racetrack to provide optimum performance on the roads. The drivability, braking and starting pitch allow for you to become at one with the bike, and provide more feeling for both the front and rear wheel, even on country roads. A longer wheelbase has been implemented to ensure maximum comfort is established, and the easily adjustable pivot point has been rescaled and enlarged.

Two versions, one goal

Whichever M RR you decide to go for, its main goal is to perform. The basic version is made for racing, and working on grams and milliseconds. The M Competition Package gives that little bit extra with M milled parts and M carbon parts that highlight the sporty look.

Modification to reach your expectations

The M RR is offered in a basic version as well as the Competition Package, and we also offer a range of M Performance Parts so you can modify your M RR to your personal expectations. Many of these parts can be installed quickly, yet there is still room for improvement with M Performance Race Parts, where your M RR can be turned into a racing machine.
