BMW S 1000 RR (2025)

Precisely tuned for performance: the RR. Here, success is measured in millimetres. That’s why the superbike has undergone ongoing development: from the new, more aerodynamic trim panels with winglets, to the front wheel mudguard with M Brake Ducts, right up to performance-oriented details, such as the quick action throttle that reduces the throttle path by 14 degrees. With the Pro riding mode, you will now have a handle on all situations as standard. The goal is, was, and always will be clear: new pole positions.

RACETRACK PEDIGREE

It’s hard to imagine the race track without it – and the RR is also intrinsically linked to it. You can achieve new personal bests with the more aerodynamic front and side trim panels. The new winglets generate up to 50% more downforce on the road: with 5.9 kg at 150 km/h, 10.6 kg at 200 km/h, 16.03 kg at 250 km/h, and a whopping 23.1 kg at 300 km/h. This counteracts the tendency of the front wheel to lift off the road surface when accelerating.

UNLEASHED PASSION

We put all of our racetrack experience into the high-performance BMW ShiftCam four-cylinder engine of the RR, with 210 hp (154 kW). The M Brake Ducts in the new front mudguard cool the brake calipers when racing, thereby ensuring a higher level of performance and a more consistent resistance point. They have been adopted from the M RR, just like the chain ring and the performance-oriented cylinder heads. The Shift assistant Pro is now included as standard, ensuring high precision when switching gears.

PERFORMANCE ON SCREEN

Off to the pit lane after a few laps around the racetrack: The last screen used is always displayed after you switch the ignition off/on. This helps you concentrate and stay focused on your mode. One Pure Ride screen and three different Core screens are available depending on your preference. The system displays a suitable maximum speed when the engine is cold. The shift light now clearly indicates when the rotational-speed sensor is flashing. Thanks to the clear TFT display, you can quickly view all other settings as well.

BMW S 1000 RR DESIGN

DYNAMIC DESIGN
BMW wanted to make a change to the superbike landscape, and they’ve done exactly that with the BMW S 1000 RR. This high-performance motorcycle has been through an extensive redesign and to say that it packs a punch would be an understatement. The swing arm is fully braced underneath and comes as standard. slight but effective changes have been made like the lowering of the steering head angle by 0.5° to 66.4° and the offset of the fork bridges has been reduced by 3mm to 25.5mm for better wheel accuracy. The defined LED headlights give the front fascia an aggressive and dynamic look, and with Z-shaped rails that span across the contours, the BMW S 1000 RR may be a beast, but it’s also a thing of beauty. To make this bike more aesthetically pleasing, and to improve visibility, the front indicators have been relocated to the rear-view mirrors. Choose between three colour variants depending on your preference, Light White/M Motorsport, Bluestone Metallic or Blackstorm Metallic.

PERFORMANCE YOU CAN SEE

As an optionally available extra, the M GPS-Laptrigger allows you to work like a professional, by automatically recording lap times on over 300 race tracks around the world.

POWERFUL M LIGHTWEIGHT BATTERY

The M lightweight battery is made with the most advanced lithium-ion technology to save a full 2kg of weight.

FINGERTIP CLOSE CONTROLS

Switching between riding modes, accessing cruise control and adjusting bike settings are easy and within reach mid-ride without distraction from your focus on the road and track.
